I recreated my teacher website (the library website) to serve the students. I added all the free e-book reading resources so it would be easy to find for the students.

This lesson taught students about different types of libraries and encouraged them to visit the public library during this time when our school library is closed.

Parts of a Book and Text Features lesson

The students start in Kindergarten learning about the parts of a book and each year I build on what they learned the last year adding more content to what they previously learned.

Ordering e-books for 2020-21 school year.

The library book budget deadline is Oct. 31st. I have recommended we buy more e-books for our students. I have turned it in to our financial secretary to put into APECS .

On time to meetings and classes

Virtual Scholastic Book Fair, Read for the Record, and Barnes and Noble Spring Book Fair.

For Read for the Record, I intend to read the title to all my classes. There will be a virtual Scholastic fair this year and I have contacted Barnes and Noble to host a spring book fair at their store this year.
